About the material:

Felt is perhaps one of the most unique and versatile fabrics available. Its properties are unrivaled by any other single material. Wool Felt is highly resilient, retaining its strength and unique properties for decades. It is chemical resistant and wears resistant.  It is an excellent sound insulator, and has superior thermal insulating and superb vibration damping qualities, and is water repellant. Wool Felt is naturally flame retardant and self-extinguishing.

Care instructions:

Felt products mustn’t be cleaned in the washing machine. Impact on the inner drum of the machine can cause shrinkage. To clean the bag, it’s best to use careful dry-cleaning. Simply notify your dry-cleaner that the bag is 100% wool. For small stains (like coffee or chocolate) you can also clean the bag with a wet sponge and cold water, apply a drop of wool shampoo onto the stain, and clean the surface with light circular movements of the sponge. Then wash off the foam with cold water and leave the bag to dry away from direct sunlight and heat.
